Custom MicroLED Wall FAQ

Common questions about custom MicroLED walls, fine-pitch LED technology, project estimates, warranty coordination, installation boundaries, and bright luxury interiors.

Does Baikal Star install MicroLED walls?

No. Baikal Star does not perform installation, electrical work, structural work, wall construction, low-voltage work, mounting, or licensed contracting services. Installation must be handled by appropriately licensed or qualified professionals selected by the client or project team. Baikal Star provides MicroLED specification, procurement, documentation, production coordination, delivery coordination, and manufacturer warranty communication support.

What is MicroLED / direct-view LED?

MicroLED / direct-view LED is a modular display technology that creates a large-format image directly from LED display modules. It can be configured into custom dimensions and integrated into architectural environments.

Why is MicroLED good for bright California interiors?

MicroLED / fine-pitch LED creates a direct-emitting image from the display surface itself. This makes it well-suited for bright luxury interiors, open layouts, glass-heavy architecture, and spaces where a projector may struggle with daylight or require more lighting control.

Is this better than a projector?

For many luxury interiors, yes. MicroLED does not require projector throw distance, avoids projection shadows, performs better in brighter environments, and can become a permanent architectural visual surface. The best choice depends on the room, budget, design intent, and use case.

Is this better than a large TV?

A TV is usually simpler and cheaper. MicroLED is for projects that require larger scale, custom dimensions, architectural integration, and a more premium wall-sized visual experience.

What pixel pitch should I choose?

Pixel pitch depends on viewing distance, screen size, desired resolution, content type, and budget. Baikal Star helps project teams compare options such as ultra-fine, fine-pitch, and larger-format configurations.

Can it be used in luxury residences?

Yes. MicroLED is suitable for luxury residences, private cinemas, entertainment spaces, art walls, great rooms, and integrated display concepts when properly specified and installed by qualified professionals.

Can it be used in retail or hospitality?

Yes. It can be used for boutique retail, showrooms, hotel spaces, hospitality environments, and branded commercial interiors.

What does the warranty cover?

Warranty coverage depends on the specific system and written warranty documentation. Baikal Star coordinates warranty communication, documentation, and replacement-part requests with the applicable manufacturer or support channel.

Do I need spare parts?

For custom MicroLED systems, spare modules, receiving cards, power supplies, or other components may be recommended or included depending on the project. Baikal Star helps coordinate spare-part planning.

Can Baikal Star work with my architect, designer, GC, electrician, or AV integrator?

Yes. Baikal Star is designed to support project teams by providing product specifications, documentation, procurement coordination, and manufacturer communication support.

Can this integrate with smart-home systems?

Integration depends on the selected processing system, control requirements, and AV / low-voltage design. Baikal Star can coordinate product information with the client's AV integrator or low-voltage professional.

How much does a custom MicroLED wall cost?

Pricing depends on size, pixel pitch, resolution, system configuration, spare parts, processing requirements, logistics, and project scope. Use the estimate tool for an initial range, then contact Baikal Star for a project-specific procurement review.

How long does the process take?

Timeline depends on specification, approval, production, logistics, delivery, and the client's construction schedule. Baikal Star can provide project-specific timeline guidance during the estimate process.

What information do you need to prepare an estimate?

Project location, display dimensions, viewing distance, indoor/outdoor use, application type, brightness conditions, target timeline, and whether the project team already includes an architect, GC, electrician, or AV integrator.
